Charter Only - Print and write-in version:  This version of the Charter allows you to print it and write in your responses.  Once completed you will need to scan it and email it to the Bishop's office.

Why do we need to complete the Charter?          
The Charter serves as a vital roadmap for priests in a Family of Parishes to effectively coordinate their ministry efforts. When do the completed Charters need to be submitted to the Bishops office?
The deadline to submit the completed Charter has been extended to April 30

What portion of the Charter needs to be completed and submitted to the bishop?
The only part of the document that needs to be completed and submitted to the bishop is the actual charter that the priests in the Family of Parishes complete together.  All other portions of the document are there for your use if they are helpful.

What if we need some help?
There are a number of people at the Diocesan Centre who are happy to assist you in completing the document.

How do we download and use the document?
There are two options of the charter for you to access.  The first allows you to input your responses by typing them in.  The second gives you an option to write in your answers.  The following are instructions for each option:

“TYPE IN YOUR ANSWERS” OPTION

1. Go to dol.ca/charter and click on the document “Charter Only – Download and type into a Word document”.
2. Save the document with a new name to indicate your FOP such as “Charter for WLSC”.
3. You may need to enable editing once you open the document.
4. Once open you will be able to type your answer in any box that says “click here to enter text”
5. Be sure to save the file once you insert text.  You can come back at any time and make further changes.
6. Once you have finished you will send the completed document to the bishop at bishop@dol.ca.  Be sure to include the name of your Family of Parishes in the subject line.
