The Diocese of London strives to be a mission-oriented church that forms disciples of Jesus. We believe that this starts with and is sustained by the family. Families are the primary formers of young people. Effective youth ministry, and effective ministry with young adults, must support family life and the family's efforts to accompany their children in discovering and deepening their relationship with Jesus, and forming missionary disciples. Our team works collaboratively with parish staff, volunteers, and community partners to accompany young people in their journey of faith.
The department of Youth, Young Adult, and Family Ministry is further committed to training, equipping, and supporting persons involved in ministry with young people - early years, children, youth, young adults - and their families in the life, mission, and ministry of the Church. All activities and events that we host personally, or promote from our networks, reflect this.
We believe that every person was born in the image of God and made to grow in likeness of God. We hope that your experience of youth, young adult, and family ministry throughout the Diocese of London will be experiences of welcome, community, learning, spiritual growth, personal development, and intentional care of God's creation and all of humanity.
I encourage you to explore our website, to connect with us on Facebook and Instagram, and to get involved with youth, young adults, and family ministry activities in your local parish community.
