The Canada Summer Jobs program available by the Government of Canada aims to provide all young people (ages 15 to 30 years) with quality work experience; responds to national and local priorities to improve access to the labour market for youth who face unique barriers; and provides opportunities for youth to develop and improve their skills. Summer employment opporunities throughout the Diocese of London will be posted to the 'Employment and Volunteering' page as they become available; please check back if this opporunity is of interest to you.
Engaged and married couples are invited to join Found Together once a month to gather online for: entertainment; a talk or interview with a Catholic couple on a relevant topic for Catholic marriages; guided offline time for couples to discuss the talk/interview content; online small group discussions; and community prayer. This retreat was hosted by the Pastoral Services department of the Diocese of London.

World Youth Day (WYD) celebrated in particular Churches has great significance for the entire community.
Some young people cannot participate in the international celebrations because of their studies, work, or financial restraints. The celebration of WYD in particular Churches provides all young people (ages 15-35) an opportunity to experience a "festival of faith" that includes witnessing, communion, and prayer similar to the experience of an international event.
Local celebrations further raise awareness among the whole community - laity, priests, consecrated persons, families, adults, the elderly - of their responsibility to transmit the faith to young persons, to be challenged by their questions, and to be mindful of walking with young people, welcoming them and listening to them.
For more information about local celebrations, please click here.
Throughout the summer months young people participated in a series of interactive, virtual discussions about various vocations. Each session was recorded, and recordings are available on our YouTube channel. Please click below to watch the recorded events about:
