A grave is an in-ground space for full casket burial and/or cremated remains. Our cemeteries offer a variety of sizes from single graves to family estate lots. The cost of the grave includes the perpetual care and maintenance of the space. Graves are pre-designated as “Flat Marker” or “Upright Monument (headstone)” spaces.

Cremation is the process by which the body of the deceased is reduced to its basic elements by rising fire and heat. The Catholic Church has permitted cremation since 1964. Once cremation has been chosen the Order of Christian Funerals must still be followed. When a body is cremated, the ashes must be treated with respect and must not be divided, scattered or kept at home. The ashes must be buried or entombed according to the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Cremation services are offered at Heavenly Rest Cemetery in LaSalle and Resurrection Cemetery in Sarnia.
