Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery opened in 1879. As Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery was reaching full capacity, the Diocese of London acquired Resurrection Cemetery in 1992 to continue to serve the needs of Catholic families and families of other faiths. We take pride in our beautifully landscaped and well-maintained cemeteries; both cemeteries offer serene and sacred surroundings which pay tribute to those we have laid to rest and provide a sense of peace to family and friends.
We offer many choices including traditional ground burial, mausoleum crypts, cremations, cremation gardens and niches. We are the oldest and most experienced providers of cremation services in Sarnia–Lambton. We are certain we can accommodate your families’ needs for today and future generations.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Due to the potential problems with fire damage, vandalism, and the dangers of broken glass – The cemetery will no longer be permitting unattended candles or lanterns / lanterns on shepherds hooks to be left at the gravesites. Any of the above items will be immediately removed and discarded by cemetery staff. For further information, please contact the cemetery office.
