Position: Secretary
Work Locations: WLSCCFOP parishes including: St. Anne's Parish, 12223 Tecumseh Road East, Tecumseh, ON and Good Shepherd Parish, 462 Advance Blvd., Tecumseh, ON
Hours of work: Full-time – 24-30 hours per week - primarily Monday to Friday, however flexibility for evenings and/or weekends is required.
Compensation: eligible for participation in the standard benefits, vacation, and pension plans of the Diocese of London. Salary is in accordance with DOL personnel policies.

POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Pastor, this position is responsible for administrative support to the Windsor-Lake St. Clair Catholic Family of Parishes (WLSCCFOP).
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Provide administrative support to the Pastor and other departments and/or committees within the WLSCCFOP
Administrative support duties include, but are not limited to:
Organize, communicate, prepare agendas, record minutes, and follow up on action items as required for meetings and/or events of the WLSCCFOP
Maintain accurate records and files
Attend to appointments, phone messages, travel arrangements and meetings schedules as required
Manage correspondence, mail, reports, and expenses
Interact with other groups in supporting the strategy of the Diocese and the WLSCCFOP
Other duties of a similar nature as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
College diploma or related administrative assistant experience
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a professional administrative environment
Bilingual in written and spoken French and English is a preference
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of highly sensitive materials
Proficient in latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent interpersonal, planning, organizational and communication skills
Collaborative, supportive, flexible team player with a high degree of initiative
Resourceful self-starter with thorough attention to detail with a desire to produce quality projects and results
Friendly, hospitable, and professional representative of the WLSCCFOP and the Diocese of London at all times
An understanding of and desire to support and promote the mission of the Diocese of London
A police record check as deemed suitable by the Diocese of London will be required of the successful candidate.
