PUBLIC WARNING:  There is no person or organization equipped or given authority to offer sponsorship spaces to anyone on behalf of the Diocese of London Sponsorship Agreement Holder.

Lottery Procedures

1. All people who qualify to co-sponsor with the RCEC Diocese of London SAH will be able to submit their sponsorship request online on (Please watch for next registration day).

On the day of the registration, you will find a link at the top of this page that will allow you to register. Everyone will receive an e-mail acknowledging reception of the request, should the form be correctly completed and sent. This e-mail does NOT mean that the RCEC Diocese London SAH is committed to sponsoring your relatives.

2. Once all sponsorship requests have been placed within that 1-hour period, the RCEC Diocese of London SAH will generate the lottery to fill the available sponsorship spaces. This lottery is necessary because we receive a limited number of sponsorship spaces from the Government; we cannot give what we don't have.

3. Once the available sponsorship spaces are filled, our office will communicate with the co-sponsors whose sponsorship requests have been successful through the lottery to begin the determination of the request.  Please note that being successful for this step is not a guarantee that your relative(s) is (are) eligible to the program.

4. Those who are NOT successful will receive an email with some suggestions. Please do not call or e-mail the office to follow up on your sponsorship request. Any person who has not been successful simply needs to monitor our website on this page and wait for the next registration round.
 

Instructions and Limitations

• The Roman Catholic Diocese of London as Sponsorship Agreement Holder (SAH) is only able to assist people who have a relative or a sponsoring group within the boundaries of the Roman Catholic Diocese of London in Ontario, Canada. If you are not sure about our boundaries, please click the following link:  Diocese of London Map.

• If you live out of Canada or out of the boundaries of our Diocese, please know that we will likely not be able to respond to your sponsorship request. Please click on the following website to search for Sponsorship Agreement Holders where you live: Sponsorship Agreement Holders (SAH).

• If you believe that you are eligible to submit a sponsorship request with us, please be mindful of that every refugee sponsorship requires a settlement plan. That means you, as the co-sponsor, must have the financial capacity to support the sponsored refugees once in Canada. For the sponsorship costs per size of family, please click here. Please be mindful of that the actual cost changes in accordance with the structure of the refugee family you intend to assist (age, marital status etc.)

• Please note:  From now on, any duplication detected in registrations will cause the system to eliminate all duplicated registrations. This means:

1.  That only one registration is permitted for each household.

2.  That it is not allowed to have more than one person registering for the same refugee or refugee family.

• Our Diocese, as SAH, receives a very high number of sponsorship requests every year. However, like every other SAH in Canada, we have a limited number of refugees allowed by the Government of Canada to sponsor every year. We are unfortunately unable to help everyone.

• Please be informed that we are not keeping any waiting list at the moment. This online registration is the only tool now to register those we can sponsor.

• Our Refugee Ministries Office is very busy. Please note that phoning us and/or e-mailing us several times will only slow us down. We count on your understanding and hope that we will be able to assist you at later time or with the help of another organization , if you cannot register with us.

خلال تقديم الطلبات في السنوات السابقة، تلقينا العديد من الملاحظات التي تفيد بأن الأشخاص لا يملكون الوقت الكافي لتقديم طلب الكفالة.

في محاولة لمعالجة هذه المسألة، قرر المكتب تسجيل طلبات الكفالة المخصصة لعام 2024 عن طريق القرعة على النحو التالي:

إجراءات القرعة

1. سيتمكن جميع الأشخاص المؤهلين للكفالة من إكمال طلب الكفالة وإرساله في اليوم والوقت المحدد (يرجى متابعة اعلى هذه الصفحة لمعرفة موعد التسجيل القادم) في يوم التسجيل ستجد رابط في اعلى هذه الصفحة يسمح لك بالتسجيل. سيتلقى الجميع رسالة بريد إلكتروني للإقرار باستلام الطلب، في حالة استكمال النموذج وإرساله بشكل صحيح. لا يعني هذا البريد الإلكتروني أن المكتب ملتزم بكفالة أقاربك.
2. بمجرد تقديم جميع طلبات الكفالة في غضون ساعة واحدة، ستقوم أبرشية الروم الكاثوليك في لندن باجراء عملية القرعة لملء مساحات الكفالة الممنوحة لنا من قبل وزارة الهجرة.
3. بعد اجراء عملية القرعة، سيتواصل مكتبنا مع الكفلاء الذين تم اختيار طلباتهم بنجاح للبدء في اجراءات الطلب. يرجى ملاحظة ان النجاح في هذه الخطوة ليس ضمانا للقيام بالكفالة حيث يتم دراسة اهلية الشخص او العائلة كونهم لاجئين ام لا.

4.  سوف يتلقى الاشخاص غير المختارة طلباتهم رسالة بريد الكتروني. يرجى عدم الاتصال بالمكتب او ارسال بريد الكتروني لمتابعة الطلب. ولا توجد قائمة انتظار سيتم الاحتفاظ بها. أي شخص لم يتم اختياره بالقرعة يمكن ان ينتظر موعد التسجيل القادم على موقعنا.

5. أي تكرار في التسجيل سيؤدي إلى قيام نظام الحاسوب بإزالة جميع التسجيلات المكررة. هذا يعنى يُسمح بتسجيل واحد فقط لكل أسرة. و أنه لا يجوز أن يكون هناك أكثر من شخص واحد يقوم بالتسجيل لنفس اللاجئ أو الأسرة اللاجئة.
