POSITION TITLE: Youth Engagement Facilitator (Seasonal Full Time) - Diocesan Centre, London
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with local organizations to offer community engagement opportunities for youth
- Organize and facilitate activities and events to engage young people throughout the Diocese of London; be prepared to offer programming in-person and online
- Support training initiatives for parish staff, key volunteers, and emerging youth leaders
- Research and populate a web calendar with a variety of local initiatives to create community and foster connectedness of families and young people
- Organize thematic programming for young people, facilitated virtually, that promote balanced, healthy living: care of mind, body, soul, that reflect the values of the Catholic faith
- Assist with online marketing and communications utilizing social media platforms
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: OSSD
EXPERIENCE: Program development (preferred), and facilitation of youth activities
SKILLS:
- Strong understanding of online platforms, notably Zoom

WORK LOCATION: Work locations available in London, Ontario or Windsor, Ontario. There is a possibility for remote work with some travel within Southwestern Ontario.
REPORTS TO: Pastoral Services Coordinator
NOTE: This position is funded through the Canada Summer Jobs Program. It is a seasonal 8 week position. Applicants must be between 15-30 years of age and legally entitled to work in Canada
COMPENSATION: $16.00 hourly for 35 hours per week
